Byung-Jin is socially isolated, lacking friends, a girlfriend, and recognition. He develops a crush on Seon-Ah during the high school entrance ceremony and attempts to confess his feelings but is unsuccessful. With classmates' support, he tries once more, yet ends up failing again. Feeling defeated, he nearly abandons all hope until a female student approaches him with an unusual offer: to serve as the main character in her comic book.
