Asuka seeks to escape the legacy of her mother, Ayaka Shindo, a renowned hostess called the Empress of Ginza. Determined to prove herself, she aims to become the leading geisha in Gion, a historic and prestigious red-light district in Japan. Her goal is to rise above her mother's influence and establish her own identity through success in the geisha world.
