Kat manages a small bed-and-breakfast while caring for her younger sisters. Struggling financially, she faces the possibility of losing the property. During a harsh winter storm, a strikingly handsome man visits and briefly captures her attention before departing the next day. He unexpectedly returns a few days later, revealing that he has purchased the B&B and intends to present her with a proposal.
