A man named Ryuka, after drinking heavily and being heartbroken, expresses a desire for true love on a hill under the stars. His words are heard by Ixto, the spirit of the last quarter moon, who decides to fulfill Ryuka's wish. However, Ixto chooses men as potential lovers for Ryuka. Ryuka's rejection of these choices leads to a magical night that enchants him.
