Kagerou

A boy witnesses an elderly man capturing a stray dog, an event that unsettles him. The man explains that wild dogs can become dangerous, and sometimes action is unavoidable. The man is revealed to be a former kamikaze pilot who never received his final mission before the war ended. Now working in animal control and drinking heavily, he gradually allows the boy to spend more time with him.
