Kaiouki

The protagonist is a captain known for his lethargy and awkwardness when idle, but becomes highly competent when working. He communicates in cryptic ways, offering hints rather than direct explanations. The story begins when the captain allows Mia, a princess from a defunct nation, and Tuban Sanoo, a renowned swordsman and strategist, to join his crew. Mia seeks scientific knowledge to revive her homeland, while Tuban safeguards her as a promise to someone he trusted. The captain agrees to transport Mia to a location where she can find the knowledge she needs in exchange for a personal sacrifice.
