A high school student named Nanoha Hanasaki moves into the apartment next door to Rentaro Ichigotani, a full-time corporate employee. Without realizing it, Rentaro finds that Nanoha frequently visits his place for dinner. Whenever possible, she teases him, leaving him to wonder about her intentions.
