On the day of his awaited wedding, Ginrei, a Fox Spirit of the Silver Order, prepares to make vows to his longtime fiancée, Menou, the Fox Princess of the Agate. Handa Shin, a 23-year-old who is unemployed and homeless, takes refuge from a sudden summer rain at Ginrei’s shrine. Spotting offerings of food, he eats them and casually suggests he would agree to become the fox spirit’s bride if it meant regular access to such meals. The narrative is divided into four parts, with the first having four chapters and the second three. The volume also includes two side stories connected to the main plot, bringing the total chapter count to nine.
