Arnée Brillhit is a skilled swordmaster and leader of the Golden Dragon Knights, one of the few in her region. When Grand Duke Cassian Ternuzen of the Northern Empire proposes, Arnée’s mother approves without revealing her daughter’s true identity. Initially wanting to end the marriage and return home, Arnée soon discovers that married life has its comforts, particularly with her husband’s gentle treatment.
