Kami kara Mirai no Present

Bran is a pickpocket struggling to break free from his criminal behavior. God intervenes by attempting to kill Bran and delivering a harsh reprimand to stop him from repeating his mistakes in future lives. Using a notebook that makes written events occur at a specified time, God intends to write Bran’s death but mistakenly writes "Branchi" instead of "Bran." As a result, a meteorite strikes a department store. An angel informs Bran of the error. The story is a one-shot manga by Eiichiro Oda, first published in the October 1993 issue of Monthly Shonen Jump Original and later included in the 1998 compilation *Wanted!*, which features Oda's early works before *One Piece*.
