Before humans emerged in recorded history, the celestial paradise of Hinoaruchi was governed by demi-beings, part human and part animal. The realm thrives under the fragile peace upheld by the demi-dragons of Ryujinkyo. A prophecy, however, foretells an uncertain new era. As the world's fate remains in question, the arrival of Kamuna, the first human child, raises concerns about whether she will bring ruin or rescue.
