In 1922, Umeko, a girl working at her family's soba restaurant in Asakusa, struggles to see herself in a romantic relationship. Her perspective changes when a young man from a rich family, who has just returned from overseas, enters her life. The story unfolds as a Taishou-era romance inspired by Cinderella.
