Kecchin

Three childhood friends—Shu, Yu, and Mako—begin to grow apart after middle school. Shu adopts a rebellious lifestyle, taking up smoking, motorcycles, and watching porn, and plans to become a carpenter like his brother. Yu, the most academically inclined, develops feelings for Mako and tries to attend the same high school as her, though it is too difficult for her. When Mako fails the entrance exam, she enrolls in a different school and works as a part-time waitress. Yu attends the high school alone but meets a girl who shares his growing interest in motorcycles. The shifting dynamics of their relationships raise questions about whether the three can maintain their friendship and what will become of Yu's feelings for Mako as he becomes closer to someone else.
