Kyosuke is forced to leave his parents' home after remaining unemployed past the age of 30. Shortly after, his only friend, Rusei, offers him a fake marriage to help improve his situation. Despite having been close friends for over ten years, the two agree to a temporary union with the intention of divorcing after 100 days. One is idealistic, the other practical. Their mismatched personalities are highlighted in this comedic story about a marriage that is never meant to last.
