In a society where beastfolk are considered superior, a human office worker faces constant disrespect and mistreatment from her beastfolk coworkers and bosses. When summoned to the CEO’s office, she expects to be fired, but instead, she is praised for her efforts and promoted to private secretary. Though pleased by the recognition, she questions whether her excitement stems solely from the acknowledgment or something more.
