A school called Hanakago Girls' Academy exists to shield students from creatures that consume their hearts. Kuromori Meiko, a girl who was mistreated by her father and saved by a Beast, enrolls there to find Ibara, a missing girl who was attacked by a hunter two years earlier. The story includes three additional chapters.
