A half-human youkai who enjoys sweets runs a pawnshop in a quiet area of town. A grumpy young man works as his manservant, handling the shop's more difficult tasks. The business specializes in human emotions—strong or forbidden feelings that trouble customers can be extracted, with their consent, and transformed into crystals. These crystals are then accepted as pawns. The youkai owner finds particular delight in consuming the resulting crystals.
