A girl named Makoto is trying to find her missing best friend, Hinano, who has disappeared during a string of kidnappings. In her search, she turns to Yotsuya-senpai, a ghostly figure from her middle school, hoping for help. To her surprise, Yotsuya-senpai is real and passionate about crafting terrifying stories. He uses the school and its students as inspiration for his tales, which often hint at hidden truths. Makoto believes these stories might hold the key to uncovering Hinano's fate. As she works with Yotsuya to bring his stories to life, she hopes to persuade him to tell the story that will lead to her friend. One-shots included are "Asobiba," "Ousama Kid," and "Kiben Gakuha, Yotsuya-sensei no Kaidan (pilot)."
