A mysterious force called "UE" attacks and destroys the space colony Angel in A.G. 101, an event known as "The Day the Angel Fell," triggering a conflict for human survival. In A.G. 108, the UE attack the colony Ovan, where Flit Asuno lives with his mother. During the assault, Flit's mother is killed, but he finds blueprints for a past weapon, the Gundam, inside an "AGE Device." Using these blueprints, Flit studies engineering at an Earth Federation base on the Nora colony and builds the AGE-1 Gundam over several years. By A.G. 115, he finishes the Gundam just as the UE attack Nora. Flit prepares to pilot the AGE-1 in defense of humanity.
