In the 21st century, a mysterious army invades Japan using powerful weapons known as Mobile Suits. A new Mobile Suit, referred to as a Gundam, crash-lands near Kurono. Another Mobile Suit descends in Tokyo. The story centers on a protagonist who opposes the invading force using a Gundam. The events take place in the year 200X.
