A second Pegasus-class ship, the Thoroughbred, and its crew are assigned to cut off a Zeon supply line behind the Moon, which connects to the Space Fortress Solomon as part of "Operation Star One." The ship is equipped with two mobile suits, the Gundams, operated by skilled pilot Ford Romfellow and experienced pilot Lusse Kessel.
