In the Cosmic Era's Year 71, a fragile peace exists between the Earth Alliance and the Zaft Empire following the Battle of Yakin Due. While Cagalli and Athrun meet with Chairman Durandal to reinforce the fragile truce, Zaft terrorists collaborate with Neo Roanoke to provoke a full-scale war. Their strategy involves infiltrating Zaft-controlled areas to seize multiple Gundam mobile suits. However, this is just the first step in a larger scheme to create a devastating incident that could plunge Earth into conflict. The Minerva crew must now work to avert catastrophe, as the situation puts all lives—and the relationship between Athrun and Cagalli—at grave risk.
