Kikinosuke Gomen

During a peaceful era of the Edo period, a younger son of a samurai family, Fujimi Kikinosuke, struggles with a lack of purpose since he cannot inherit his family's estate. He passes his time engaging in various misadventures, often accompanied by his friend Juuzou. Kikinosuke later meets Uta, a young woman pursuing a career in art, who also faces her own difficulties.
