Kilico

A detective witnesses his brother's death and identifies a girl named Kilico at the scene, believing she is responsible. After a violent confrontation, he arrests her. Kilico, trained as an assassin by her stepfather, appears as a normal college student. She avoids incrimination by hiding evidence of the murder. The detective's investigation becomes complicated, exceeding his authority. Kilico's encounter with him triggers memories of her traumatic past and questions about her role as an assassin. She travels to Taiwan to study gemology, a front for her family's criminal activities. The detective, dismissed for overstepping, follows her. They reunite and grow close while entangled in the internal struggles of a major Taiwanese crime syndicate.
