A white-collar worker named Gotou Shizuka is attacked by a slasher in a busy shopping district. As she nears death, a voice tells her she has been defeated and a termination countdown begins. With the help of the "Night Guide (Guidance)," she survives and gains a unique ability. At the same time, the world becomes linked to another, and monsters start appearing. Gotou decides to fight these monsters. Using her upbeat and fearless personality, she engages in battle, levels up, and creates weapons.
