Mitsuki Namikawa is deeply passionate about 2D characters, a hobby her strict mother has long opposed, even banning anime and games from their home. Her two close friends and coworkers, Atsuno and Madoka, embrace her interests without judgment. Atsuno shares Mitsuki’s enthusiasm for anime and manga, while Madoka enjoys being part of their dynamic friendship. During a casual gathering at Atsuno’s home for their usual anime-watching and drinking night, Mitsuki encounters a character unlike any she has seen before. Though aware he exists only in the fictional world, she begins to consider how far she might go to be with him.
