Kawamata, after recently moving, was on the veranda when a piece of paper drifted down from above. It bore the words "I like you" and "Sensei." Moments later, a sound resembling a death rattle was heard. He later discovered the voice belonged to Kosuge, a senior from his part-time job. From that moment, Kawamata became unable to stop thinking about Kosuge. One day, someone arrived who Kosuge referred to as "Sensei."
