Sawako Kuronuma, known for her black hair, quiet nature, and reserved personality, struggled to fit in during high school. With the support of friends, her boyfriend Kazehaya, and former rival Kurumi, she gradually became more confident. In college, Sawako and Kurumi remain close, though Kurumi begins to desire a romantic relationship of her own. Despite her self-doubt, she decides to pursue dating. After being approached by an insistent admirer following a party, Kurumi is helped by a good-looking stranger who resembles Sawako. He is actually her cousin. As Kurumi grows more interested in him, she begins to wonder if it might be love.
