Yasutaka is drawn to the strikingly symmetrical and doll-like appearance of his classmate Takakura. He finds himself unable to look away, though he insists this has nothing to do with affection. When given the opportunity to sketch Takakura closely, Yasutaka hopes to remain composed, convinced that his admiration is purely aesthetic.
