Kouji and Takayuki are childhood friends who share a birthday and were born in the same hospital. Their mothers are close friends, and the two have spent much of their lives together. They made a promise to marry each other by the age of 15. However, their views on this commitment differ. Takayuki is determined to fulfill the promise, while Kouji is uncertain and slow to grasp the situation. As they approach the age they set for their union, Kouji's hesitation and external circumstances create tension between them.
