Kiniro Kishi

A compilation of short stories by Nao Tsukiji. In one, a police officer named Shiro is reassigned to a quiet village where his duties involve minor tasks like rounding up stray horses or helping elderly villagers. In another, Anzu serves as the village's bell guard, responsible for alerting people to barbarian threats. When a real barbarian arrives, she realizes her understanding of them is based on limited and biased information. A third story follows a young woman searching for the ideal present for a man she has grown fond of.
