A student named Shindo Ichirou attends the newly established Epitaph school to study the human "Destruct Sense." On his first day, he is attacked with a powerful sword capable of cleaving the sky. He is unexpectedly rescued by a girl named Rikudou Mari, who uses a rocket launcher. She tells him that to survive, he must summon a Valkyrie. The story begins with an armed battle and an action-filled fantasy sequence initiated by a kiss.
