At Keigo's school, students with behavioral issues, those who have been mistreated, and those with visible injuries are placed in a single class. Asato, a silent student in this class, shares Keigo's reluctance to leave school each day. After Keigo injures himself following class, he and Asato find that Asato has the unusual ability to take in others' wounds. The story explores which injuries Asato might take on and the hidden scars he may have of his own.
