In ancient times, a group of people with the ability to transform into animals lived by a lake in central Eurasia. Conflicts led to the group splitting into four tribes that dispersed globally. One descendant is Hidaka, a high school student with an unusual appetite. Earl Linford, a British aristocrat who can transform into a lion, seeks to dominate all clans by asserting his bloodline's superiority. Renée, a woman capable of transforming into a wolf, becomes involved and aims to reconnect Hidaka with his heritage.
