Kodomo no Niwa

A girl named Saho has lived a content life with her mangaka father and grandmother, despite their modest means and her father’s casual appearance. Her peaceful existence is disrupted when she learns her mother has died, leading to the arrival of Mugi, her older brother whom she hasn’t seen in ten years. Struggling to adjust to his presence, Saho finds it difficult to connect with the brother she only knew from old photos. His self-centered behavior adds to the tension, making family life challenging. The story explores their efforts to adapt and find common ground.
