A family blessed by the Black Dragon can heal and purify through their voices. After Ayame's parents die, she is mistreated by her aunt and uncle, who cause her to lose her voice. As her cousin Mari becomes the new priestess, Ayame is chosen as a sacrifice to the Black Dragon. When she pleads for help, the Black Dragon, Saku, appears as a man and takes her to his realm. Now his bride, Ayame resides in the Black Dragon Manor, which exists between the heavens and the human world. Mari, jealous of Saku's bond with Ayame, seeks to take him back and harm Ayame again.
