Kana and Kaoru were childhood friends who grew distant when Kaoru left for college in Tokyo. Five years later, after graduating from a local school, Kana moves to Tokyo to work and reconnects with Kaoru. During this time, she begins to understand her feelings for him. However, she must also come to terms with Kaoru's past relationship with his ex-girlfriend, a classmate from university.
