Amber discovers an old diary at her mother’s house that inspires her to visit Istanbul and step outside her comfort zone. While there, she encounters a scammer attempting to sell her a coin, but is saved by a man named Kadar. A strong emotional reaction occurs when their eyes meet, and he offers to guide her around the city. Despite her unease, she is drawn to his charisma and does not know that he is connected to her future.
