Kanoko, who frequently changed schools during middle school, starts high school at Takara no Tani alongside Tsubaki. For unclear reasons, she is assigned the role of "Strategist" for the Cultural Affairs Department, a title inspired by the Three Kingdoms. As a result, she ends up becoming involved with the Newspaper Club.
