Koi to Byounetsu

Life expectancy has declined to approximately forty years, prompting societal changes in family structure. Families are permitted to raise only one child, and additional children must be surrendered to the church for adoption by couples without children. This practice has led to the gradual disappearance of the term "sibling." Some of these separated children may eventually reunite.
