A prearranged marriage between Reion, heir to the Haku Family, and Kaen, the youngest of the Koku Family, is set to take place. As part of the wedding preparations, Reion visits the Koku household. Upon meeting, Reion is no longer the boy Kaen once recognized from photographs, but a self-assured adult. During their encounter, Reion makes a comment expressing mutual discomfort over the union between two men.
