A 20-year-old second-year student at a technical school, Ruka Sawaguchi, has been unable to form new romantic relationships since being hurt by her first love in high school. She meets a man who initially annoys her but gradually helps her overcome her emotional pain, leading her to fall in love. She later discovers that he is only 16 years old.
