Thirteen-year-old Rina Uchida moves in with the Yoshikawa family after her parents relocate overseas for her father's job. The household includes twin brothers, Naoya and Yuya. While Naoya is unfriendly, Yuya is kind and appeals to Rina. The family also includes a strange creature known as Bucket Purin.
