Nao is struggling after his girlfriend leaves him for someone else, leading him to lose all sense of purpose. While considering ending his life, he sees an ad for the Space Force, a military organization defending Earth from alien threats. Seeing this as a chance to give his life meaning, he enlists with the intention of dying heroically after a memorable last line. However, Nao turns out to be exceptionally skilled at his role, making it difficult for him to carry out his original plan. As a result, he faces a dilemma: will he find the death he seeks, or is he destined to become a hero and continue living?
