Kusunoki Masaomi lies to Kika Hibari, telling her he confessed because he must save the world, when it was actually part of a punishment game. Kika, known for talking about the "spiritual world" and other unusual ideas, accepts the lie. She is often isolated due to her strange beliefs, but Masaomi discovers that, contrary to rumors, she can be kind and genuine in private. As their relationship develops, Masaomi begins to care for her, but the more he learns, the more he sees that her beliefs may be real and involve others.
