Kokuchou

A compilation of four standalone stories by Yamagishi Ryouko. The first, Black Swan, explores a mysterious bird and its connection to a girl. Kifune no Michi involves a journey to a shrine in the mountains. Shijima no Soko centers on a boy who cannot speak and the events that unfold around him. Kishimojin deals with a family's encounter with a Buddhist deity. Each story is self-contained and distinct in setting and theme.
