An ordinary office worker named Maika Narumiya is transported to another world one evening. While searching for a way to return home, she unexpectedly becomes a castle servant, though the reason is unclear. The young king of the country persistently proposes to her despite her repeated rejections and his lack of understanding of her position. He wields a mysterious ability known as the "Power of Salvation" and maintains an unwavering, self-assured optimism. Maika finds the king's constant attention and insistence on marriage increasingly exasperating.
