Claire, a girl of French and Japanese descent, was raised in an orphanage where she faced bullying due to her red hair and unusual behavior. This led her to become fixated on possessing beautiful, lasting objects entirely for herself, with a current interest in collecting butterflies. Upon meeting Youko, a strikingly beautiful girl resembling a butterfly, Claire becomes determined to add her to her collection.
