Kono Aozora ni Yakusoku wo: Melody of the Sun and Sea

Wataru Hoshino discovers a girl wearing only underwear in his room one morning. After she wakes, she punches him and flees through the window. The girl, Rinna Sawaki, later joins Wataru’s school and becomes his dorm roommate. Wataru shares the dorm with four other girls and their teacher. Due to Temizugawa Heavy Industry closing its aviation division, a major employer on South Sakojima Island, all affected families must relocate within a year. This means the four girls will leave the island in twelve months. To avoid future heartache, Rinna chooses not to form close bonds with Wataru and the others. Wataru, however, believes otherwise and attempts to change her mind throughout the year.
