Kotou no Oni: Edogawa Ranpo Kessakushuu

In early Showa era Tokyo, Minoura is engaged to Hatsuyo, a woman he loves. She is killed by an unidentified attacker, leading Minoura to suspect Moroto Michio, a former schoolmate who once harbored feelings for him. Believing Moroto may have acted out of jealousy, Minoura becomes convinced that Moroto is involved. Moroto is described as intelligent and attractive, but his focus has always been on Minoura. As Minoura investigates the murder, Moroto offers to assist in the detective work, raising further questions about his true intentions.
